Summary
Lovely old village house, located in the centre of Roquebrun. Quite extensive renovations in 2022 (we have owned the house for over 15 years). We have decided to sell due to now living in Australia, and will no longer be able to use the house as we once did. Recent work includes fully restored roof, facade, internal walls and floors, plus new support beams in the cave. The house does not have a view of the river, and is priced accordingly.

Location
Located on the Rue du Barry, Roquebrun's old 'high street', where cafes and shops once existed, all the properties are now residential. The village itself is the highlight of the area, with people coming from far & wide to enjoy the river access, which includes the wonderful canoeing centre. Although small, the village enjoys many restaurants, cafes, a bar, boulangerie, grocery shop, and the well known 'Jardin Mediterraneen' (botanical gardens).
The village is 20 mins from the larger town of St Chinian, with banks, supermarkets and the weekly market. The nearest beaches of the Med are a 50 min drive.
